Yes. Seriously. I've owned the car for all of two weeks now.
Under the driving circumstances that trigger that message, it's actually kind of difficult to try and read and retain something that pops up for about 1 second while you're trying to keep an eye on the road. Anyway... From what I've seen it basically means the transmission waits until the best possible time to upshift. You get the redline performance of a manual with the faster shifting of an automatic. And it makes the commute a whole lot funner. |
