Big guys' experience with recaro seats. Comfortable?

Their OK, the OEM recaro's are generally more forgiving with room but the Aftermarket seats are a little more narrow. Check out there site and look at the seat dimension charts. I used to weight 338lbs and rocked a set of Sparco Evo3's in my old GTi Time Attack car.
46 Waist and still was comfortable. All depends on what your looking for.

6-1 210 lbs. Just drove mine 2500 miles to Vegas and back. Perfectly comfortable to me.

(BTW - 24 mpg including city driving, 80 mph speed limit in Utah, and shredding every on ramp possible. Best road trip ever!)

I don't consider that big, lol. I'm 6'5 375. My stock seats are perfectly comfortable for me. Just not sure about recaro's

I don't think you'll fit in the Recaros my man. Find a dealer with them in a car and check it out though.

Also, awkward, same username haha.

6-4 and 205 here. And congrats on the 24mpg. I love my performance, but it's a challange for me to see how good of mileage I can get. Last lime I went to town, 50 miles round, made two stops and got 27.3 in my 2ss.

Not comfortable at all to me. It's not necessarily about the weight, as I am 5'9 and 230 lbs. But it's not the weight, it's shoulder width. As a bodybuilder, my upper body does not like the recaros, as they dig into my shoulder blades. I am glad someone gets to enjoy them, but I don't think I ever will.

here is a pic of me having fun at a strongman pulling a truck.

When I first got my 1LE with the recaro's I was 6'-6" tall 36" inseam weighed 390lbs. The recaro's fit me fine and they feel like they sit lower then standard seat. Plus the alcantera center just makes the seat have the more racey and highend feel.

Now I weigh 220lbs and still feel fine in the seat. I like corners and stock seats have no support for corners plus the leather you slide around. The recaro's are like a like glove and you are the hand.

Now aftermarket recaro's , Corbeau, and sparco's come down to the old saying you get what you paid for. Corbeau material is too cheap for daily driving they wear out fast. The sparco's I bought were one of the best aftermarket seat I ever bought. for a race seat with minimal padding they were comfortable even for long trips. Also being tall sparco's have one of the highest head supports just short of a custom made Kirkey. The sparco material is almost like a Jean material very sturdy and easy to keep clean.

Factory OEM Recaro's the Camaro is one of the best, I have a friend who has a Boss 302 with the ford recaro's and they are narrow. THe GT500 recaro's are same just leather.

More people think my car is a Z28 because of those seats, they know the car is Special when they see those seats and find out they are stock.

6-3, 280 - 310 depending on how much work out vs how much party I am doing, and I agree with the shoulder comments. They felt fine around the waist and hip area, but my shoulders bridged the seat. I have only sat in a Z/28 at the dealership, but knew right then they were not for me.

I'm 6'2" , 210 and I think they fit great. But If I was any taller or my abdomen was any longer, I don't think they would be a good fit.

Ive sat in them a few different times and loved them
