Differences between BRM and BVM

What are the differences between Blue Ray Metallic and Blue Velvet Metallic. Are both colors equally metallic? How do the shades of blue differ?

Well most people think the BRM stripe on mine is black. The BRM is very dark. I don't think the BVM is as dark.

It would be nice to compare them side by side. But as I recall the BRM has a more purple tint that makes it look darker than BVM.
Just for reference here is a picture my Blue Velvet Metallic ZL1.

Shark, lets see a similar picture of your BVM beauty, if possible the same profile.

Thanks

I have seen BVM in person and I can say BRM has a lot more metallic and more purple hues. Without much sun both colors looked pretty close to me.

Shark, your car looks incredible. The black wheels combined with the beautiful color is perfect.

Good Luck with it.

I think the picture below is what you're looking for, but I'm not certain if the Camaro on the left is a '14 or '15. Mine's the '13 in BRM (much lighter on that day compared to the 14/15). You'll also notice, when compared to my signature pic below, how dark the BRM can really get depending on ambient light. I also feel that the entire tone of my car got darker once I Plasti-Dipped the rims, changed the grille & added the stripes. . .

Sometimes I feel my car is schizofrantic (because it can't make up it's mind what color it is today) but I love every variation. BRM is an awesome color to say the least!
