Wonder if plastidip would work. I'm still in love with that stuff and trying to find new places to use it all the time.

So did they notice and not tell you?? I do agree them wanting to fix it is great customer service!! Its not fun missing your car again for them to fix but it will be restored to normal and life goes on. Whatever you decide its your car and thats the bottom line. Have a blast in it as im sure yo do, its a great car ya got there

It does seem like a pretty intense process to get done. Personally I would have them fix it. Very cool of them to admit and want to fix. Once again thats just me. Whatever you decide to do is all good because its yours. In the end you know youll be safe and thats what matters.

See if you can get a Tattoo artist to cover it up like a bad tattoo using an engraver!

Tell everyone it happened in a big race where you had your giant super charger running 25# boost. The car wheeled and your helmut smashed that area causing the crack. You then managed to regain control and beat a Shelby 500 by a car's length. Take a paint pen and write over it in big letters the date of your last race. Wear it with (fictional) pride. Just be sure to scuff your helmet a bit in the corresponding area.

I would have them replace the piece, even if you lose the car for a day or two.
