After lengthy search for the proper ride -- throughout which, the M.O. was that MRC was a must-have -- I picked up the lightly-used rig in my sig in late January of this year. Two weeks of experimentation later, I set MRC to "Sport" and haven't touched it since; no need. I once also logged about 1,100 miles of very varied driving in a non-MRC, 2SS coupe, and had zero complaints regarding suspension compliance v. comfort.

OTOH, if you're already going 2SS, then you're not trying to pinch pennies, and you might as well go top-shelf. Would certainly help re-sale value if it ever comes to that. Realistically cannot retrofit, as has been pointed out. And the question of reliability is a non-issue.

My $0.02: you would still greatly enjoy the car without it, but I couldn't fault you for getting it.

Oh but of course add it to the order. It’s worth the extra money.

My MRC Camaro is more comfortable on bumpy roads in my area, than any other car I've owned. I'm sure there are other cars that ride better, but it beats my Ford Edge, Chevy Impala, and others I've owned.

Is it the actual system failing or the shocks themselves needing a rebuild/re placement? 50,000 miles on a high performance suspension components is a lot of miles.

MRC is amazing especially when you want to comfortably cruise on the highway. I’ve never had a car handle so well then switch to “floaty” on a long drive. Besides if it’s good enough for Ferrari…

If it were available on the LT1, I would have ordered it. It is just such a cool thing to have.

Hmmmm, its cool to be able to change the settings, but the reality is that I have it in tour 99% of the time.

I have my ZL1 on sport mode about 99% of driving time but sometimes switch to Track mode when I’m on a twisted road.

Sport 99.9% of the time. "Tour" in construction zones, "Track" on the street never really appealed to me.
