They do but expect resistance unless going through a performance oriented dealer. And still expect some hassle.

I thing they've already lowered 1/5 inch compared to the 5gen so I won't lower it anymore and if I ever thought about it,it will be dealer installed not aftermarket

As amerhash pointed out, these cars look lower than the 5th gen (especially the LT models compared to 5th gen) by maybe a 1/4 to 1/2" already. Just look at the shot below. If the factory models come out this way, I probably won't lower mine, as getting wider wheels should fill that gap up even more.
I'm betting the drop from Chevrolet won't be more than an additional 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch. Still great that Chevrolet is offering it though.

Anyone have info on when the GM kits will be finally released?
