Camaro 6th Gen?

Dont know if anyones covered this, but was wondering what people though about the 6th gen camaro. Keep the retro look or go more futuristic? I personally like the retro.

id like a mix between the 2, i more fancy the retro look myself, but a few sleek changes could help the features if they do it correctly.

From what I hear Ford is giving up on the retro look for the next gen Mustang, so right now I am kind of expecting GM to do the same. I think it will have some retro aspects but not as much as we have right now. But we're all guessing right now...

i think they should take the current design as a baseline and play around with it, so it's recognizable, but new.

GM is currently right in the middle of ironing out the the 6th gen's design as we speak. I've heard rumors that it won't be as overtly retro as the current car.

I agree. I think it is too soon for a radical change in styling.

A slightly smaller version of the 5th gen with a freshening to the nose & tail coupled with LS7(Z28) level performance out of the standard LT1 would be nice

When will the design actually be shown to the public? I've sort of lost track of these things, but I'm real interested in this one.

I don't know. But the actual car will be here in 24-30 months.

BTW, the design competition for the Camaro started in the first half of 2012, so I expect that a pretty firm direction has already been chosen for it by now.

So they are going to go away from success ... thisMustang was much more of a success over the one previous to it ... the kinder gentler Mustang

If the 5th gen was based on the '69 then base the 6th gen on '68, (don't mess up a good thing)!!! Seriously, make sure it is recognizable as a Camaro, no need to totally reinvent the wheel.
