A stock ZL1 is 198, you can google it. Pretty sure coupe SS is 180 there have been other topics about it in the forum, the convertible is limited quite a bit lower don't recall the number.

It did actually peak over 200. Changing suspension settings and tire inflation doesn't make it not stock, as all those parameters are capable on the car as it comes. The owner's manual actually even tells you to push the PSI up to 44 for high speed runs.

Correct on all. Verts, V6 and 4poppers are limited to 155.

That was one test and I would argue any adjustment from how the car comes from factory is not stock, at least it's not the stock settings. The published advertised top speed is 198. At the end of the day doesn't really matter I doubt more than 1% of ZL1 owners or ss owners will see the top speed achieved and if you did who cares if it's 198 or 202.

The alignment on cars varies, this has been proven. Some are close, some are far apart. Adjusting the alignment on a car with OEM existing variance is not a preclusion from being called stock if done with all the stock hardware in place. This is even more applicable that the owner's manual tells you to alter the alignment for track days. That's still stock as it's OEM factory hardware on that car.

The only reason I commented on it was that you called me out and told me to go Google. So, I pulled the reasons why I stated 200+ over 198.

Chevy says 198 they made the car so I say 198, one isolated test does not change that in my opinion. If you show me 20 tests among various conditions with various drivers and the majority of them achieve 202, then you can claim your 202.

If that's your view on things, then you have to also throw out any and all 1-off hero runs wherever metrics are concerned as they're only applicable to the very small minority.

For example. The 2017 Camaro ZL1 A10 is not capable of doing a 7:29.60 at the 'ring, because only 1 person did it that one time. Not 20 times in various conditions with various drivers.

Yeah here in Mexico there's a 20 mile stretch where there's no exists/entrance.. no stores or houses .. just straight for 20 mile road.. once you enter you have to wait 20 miles to take the exist .. normally cops are either right by the entrance or exist .. you have the inbetween to let loose but have to be careful cops aren't using the same route ( mostly they don't. No one uses that route as it's really outta the way for anyone to use it .. )
