I'm disappointed they didn't fix this. So many people I know that rented one said they would not buy because of the blind spot. Not even sure I would have...but I have the convertible, so it is no issue.
I just think it could have been fixed properly (that's what the engineers/designers get paid for).
I think they are missing out on sales because of this.

It would be nice to get confirmation of the 7 speed manual and 8 speed automatic transmissions like the Stingray.

There's truth to that, but how will GM grow the car and attract conquest buyers if they are only polling existing owners? The existing owners can't float the assembly line forever. "Of course I love my car, I spent $40k on it"

Yea this seems questionable at best. It sounds like Design won over function again.

Rear differential gearing information would also be helpful.

One can hope, anyway.

What they say about the interior is definitely good news!
They did say that the LT1 in the Camaro is 20% different than the Stingray's LT1. http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=400570

I guess some of those parts hurt horsepower. Disappointing but I'm sure it will still be a significant improvement over the fifth gen.

To me the LGX seems to be the most impressive of the reveal. Over 30 MPG will be a huge selling point.

That's false. The Camaro Z28 had 275 hp when the 4th gen debuted in 1993 and just kept going up from there.

Estimate was 450.. It has 464. Maybe we see something similar.

It weighs less, has more power and the SS should handle nearly as well as the 1LE, it is sound quite good to me. You guys are a tough group.

Why are we a tough group? The exact engine in another car makes 15 more horsepower and 10 lb ft more torque and we shouldn't be able to expect that in our car?
