Current 1SS is 34,500 with delivery. Current Mustang GT is 33,125 with delivery.
4-8 percent increase would put it at about 35,900-37,300 for the 1SS including delivery. That's a 2.7-4k premium over a Mustang. I rounded a bit for the Camaro and calculated off of MSRP and delivery fee (1000). |

I don't think we'll see that big of a difference between Mustang and Camaro prices.. If we do, fail goes to GM.

Wow, you guys are in for a big surprise. With all the new advancement in the new gen, its GONNA cost more than the current gen, at MINIMUM 4%. I'll bet a years salary.

I'm sure the same was said by some of the Mustang guys. Not disagreeing but new gen doesn't mean big jump in price for any manufacturer.

If I recall, the pricing on the new Vettes was way below what was expected...and some of the trim levels and their surprisingly low prices became so popular that production couldn't keep up for a while....(sorry, don't recall all the details exactly....)
...Just sayin' that they did keep the Vette prices reasonable for what was offered....I would expect the same, if not even a better bargain, for the new Camaros... |

The price for the Corvette increased twice. Once at launch and again after it was on sale. I can't remember how much.

MSRP when launched was 52k.. Now it's 56. Corvette really doesn't have direct competition. First time they increased price after launch was by 2k.. Then it was increased twice more I believe.

The first price increase on the 2014 Stingray went into effect at the beginning of March (2014). The base price increased by $2,000. The Z51 option package increased $1,300 if I remember correctly. I ordered in January of 2014 so my pricing was not affected. However, for 2015 there was another increase.

The end of year should be a 20% off sale right, like last year?
