There's been a lot of ongoing discussion on what the proper part number is. What's the latest from you guys who recently got one? Getting one between now and Christmas, a gift for myself.

I’ve since gone with the CAI box just weeks before GM released their box with little fanfare. Either way factory warranty is not voided by the box on either.

So how do the prices compare between CAI an GM? And does CAI include a reflash in the cost?

I like the intake sound and my seat of the pants feels like some increase in power.
So where does the CARB sticker go?

Good question, I haven't decided where to put it other than somewhere under the hood. I live in Texas so the 50 State sticker isn't as critical as it is in some other states. I haven't found a specification for placing the sticker, but I was told by the tech who did the reflash that the programming reflects the 50 state emissions certification. That being said, it seems to be that the best course would be to get a safety inspection at a Chevrolet dealer so the existence of the sticker becomes moot.

The Cold Air Inductions system doesn't require a re flash of the ECM as they designed it to work with the factory tune. That's according to their website. I got tired of waiting for GMPP to release theirs so I bought the CAI one and really like it.
