17 2ss 6m, heated seats, steering wheel turn on automatically when I start it
Hi I was wondering if there is any way to get the heated seats and steering wheel to come automatically on when I start the car.
I have a 17 2ss |

If it is an automatic, you can set up your remote start to turn on heated seats. It is in the mylink settings menu under the "Vehicle" sub-menu.

Well since it's a manual, you have to get in to start it. Push the buttons

And to be honest, the automatics are the same way. When they start up they have to turn on the heated seats/steering wheel as well.

It tells you in the manual that the heated seats indicator lights will not illuminate during remote start but they will indeed be onif you choose the option in the vehicle personalization settings. They turn off when you turn the ignition on so you will need to turn them on again.

they must be on the lowest heat setting but its soooooo nice
i'm definitely going to continue remote starting every day this autumn/winter .

Correct, while the heated seats are on during a RSE as soon as the car is turned on the seats turn off and have to be turned on again.
And yes, the seats are only on low while on during a RSE. |
