vtc improve 1/4 times?
Anyone have times with and without vtc without any other changes between runs?

It's already been tested and proven to not noticeably improve 1320 time, although 60 time did improve slightly. It's in these threads somewhere...

Not really going to do much on the strip. All this thing does, really is improve the response of the throttle. Once you're WOT, it is doing nothing for you.
I think it's largest effect is in auto-x or road course, where you spend a lot of time at part throttle and rolling into WOT. It greatly improves roll-in acceleration. |

I saw no improvement because as stated earlier it won't help at WOT which is where you'll be the majority of the time. You'll mainly notice it during daily driving. That is where the fun of it is. It isn't a mod for improving 1/4 mile track times. Its just for making your DD much more fun! With that said, I'm keeping mine forever.

Its not a performance adder. It just makes your gas pedal more sensative to the touch.

Well, technically, it does improve the car's performance, it just isn't going to have an effect on 1/4 mile times, at least not a significant effect. But everyday driving, it will accelerate faster from a stop or when coming off a ramp and merging into traffic.

It's not going to have an effect at all on any track times. It doesn't add power at all. If you actually press the pedal harder and use it more aggressively, you'll get the same performance as far as power is concerned. The VTC will reduce the delay felt and make the car more responsive to pedal input as stated above, but it's not going to make your engine put out one more ounce of torque.
