Steering wheel rattle on rough roads?
I have noticed that when I'm on rough pavement (not necessarily potholes, but rough surface) that the steering wheel will rattle. Then when I grab it firmly at 9 and 3 or 10 and 2, it quiets down. Is this normal? I'm thinking about taking it to the dealer to have it checked out. Sometimes I will notice it on roads I think are pretty smooth, though today I didn't have any issue with it.

Mine rattles, but it is the center horn/airbag assembly. If I hold it the noise stops. Pretty annoying but not worth a trip to the shop. If the car goes in the shop for something else I'll have it fixed.
