Is this normal after Cam Swap and Tune?
Is this normal chirping sound after cam swap. Is it valve spring due to high lift or something else.

I've removed all the soundproofing and I don't hear chirping sounds.

Mine has a very similar sound. I had the same question because it's my first cammed car and the first time i ever installed one or even open a motor up but 3,500 miles and 5 passes at the track so far and everything is good, I believe thats just the normal sound for these engines

Sounds about normal for a cammed car, I'll guess you have headers also.

Could be lifters due to P/R length being slightly off...but really sounds like header ping..gonna be louder due to cam overlap...if you are worried either do a oil/filter change and cut the filter open or send out a sample to Blackstone for analysis...peace.

I just had my cam swapped and longtubes installed and hear a very similar noise. I'm getting the shop to take a look in a couple days and I'll let you know what they say.
Fingers crossed it's a "normal" sound. |

The shop I had my cam swap done at took a listen, heard the noise, and said it's normal valvetrain chatter. That being said, my noise was much quieter than yours and hasn't gotten worse over time. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck!

aftermarket headers r crazy thin compared to that cast iron junk it came with. U can hear everything moving/ clicking inside the engine

Another thing with cams is if you have valve over lap you will hear the valves closing especially with headers, it can sound like a exhaust leak or valve train tick.
