Looks like a Porsche/Hyundai bastard child. I don't like it. Not sure what I would do for a 6th gen Camaro, maybe a little smaller and about 700 pounds lighter. I like the retro style, that is one thing the Japanese and Koreans can't reproduce.

Being that the new Camaro is going to be based on the new Cadi ATS chassis, I doubt they have a rolling car ready to actually have a pic of. The current design is obviously a hit by the sales numbers, so I suspect some version will be next.

Amen to that. Camaro6 on Facebook has really been ticking me off with all the photoshops they post - with no disclaimer that it's a photoshop - claiming it's a 6th gen concept. Too many people backlashing at GM just because the guy won't put a disclaimer up that it's just a photoshop and not a real concept.

Yes your right , No Way Gm just lets a photo come out , They will tell us when one will come out. And if they wanted it to be seen it would be in 2 weeks at the Detroit Auto Show . I doubt we see any pic of this car till next year at best and won't believe any pic till it comes off the GM website.

Not even a Z28 if they make it for 1 year (2014) or the ZL1's? They are low production cars

you would be better off looking at the caddy ats, and imagining a more slopped roof line, lower trunk height, and eliminate the rear doors while elongating the front doors back a bit. the only true questions are what the nose area and rear fascia will look like and styling cues. the Basic shape is there if you use your imaginiation. compare the ats to the cts and how the roof slopes more from the sedan to the coupe versions. also slightly bigger more agressive wheels.

Have to add, when the 5th gen concept photos first came out I was a bit taken back, I had anticipated love-at-first-sight but was surprised to find it just didn't do it for me.
UNTIL I saw it "in-the-flesh" at Indy '08. After that I loved it. So I've learned to withhold judgement until I see in person. :notheadlights: Oh the memories! Last edited by MLL67RSSS; 01-08-2013 at 07:13 AM. |
