Any Carbon Reduction With Supercar vs. 5w-30

I don't want to start an oil debate. I've probably spent too much time in those threads. I've run Mobile1 5w-30 Dexos1 Gen2 as specified in my 2018 manual. I am aware of the Supercar Mobile1. Can anyone tell me if one of these oils is better at reducing carbon deposits than the other? Please forgive me if I missed this in one of the threads. If you could provide the reasoning, it would be much appreciated.

Valve Deposits not the Environment

My concern for this thread is the carbon build-up on valves. The environment would be a different thread. Thanks for your reply.

Supra car oil is the same oil you have been using (assuming you’ve been using Mobil one esp). They just rebranded it as super car.

Thank you for your reply. I read that as well. My logic is that if the recommended 5-30 does not produce any more carbon deposits than the Supercar, I might as well purchase the 5-30 rather than getting a second mortgage.

The carbon deposits are not just from the oil but from blowby gasses as well, but generally anything Dexos1 or dexos2 will minimize carbon.

M1 supercar isn't that expensive if you buy online, but probably more $ then 2 5qt jugs of basic m1 5w30.

If you don't really track the car you should be fine on 5w30 imo
