What is the new thing with these ricers that I am seeing?

Ok, so lately I have been seeing ricers with the rims/tires angled out (like 25%), it’s the weirdest thing. It’s like the car is only driving on part of the tires. Not sure if I am explaining this right but it looks so stupid and I cannot imagine it’s good for the car.

Has anybody seen this and when the hell is it about?

They have been doing this to get the car super-low to the ground. They look rediculous, and it's a huge safety issue. Just another trend...

Some tool rolled into a Super Car show with his white S2000 with gold rims with this look.

Needless to say, he didn't go over too big. Especially when he tried to park near the Lambo, Ferrari, and Porsche section.

Yea, I'm all for the "to each his own" stuff too, but that is a serious safety issue. Tires are not designed to be ridden like that. If that blows out it could cause an accident.

Hell, I had a tire blow out on my truck once cuz my front sway bar broke and was grinding down the tire. Luckily nothing happened and I was able to get a new tire and the front end fixed, but it could have been a lot worse.

Why dont they just body drop, tub, notch, do work the proper way to acheive getting the car super low to the ground? I mean... if your going to go the cheap route just get 10 inch rims/tires?

Don't need a radical camber/angle to be dropped or slammed.... this one isn't bad

The tire stretching to make smaller tires fit on bigger rims is my biggest gripe.
