Just a Simple RANT...
VC 27803 $178 Violation of motorcycle safety helmet requirements.
VC 27315 $148 Mandatory use of seat belts. VC 23123.5 $148 Driving while using a wireless device to send, read or write text. VC 23124 $148 Minor driving while using a wireless phone. VC 22349 $214 Unsafe speed, 1 to 15 miles over the limit. VC 22350 $328 Unsafe speed, 16 to 25 miles over the limit. VC 21453(A) $436 Failure to stop at a red signal. Getting stuck in the damn HOV lanes for miles......... And decide to make a lane change over the double yellow safely VC 21655(a) $480 Entering or exiting perferential use lanes. 1 DMV point! So let me get this right i can be an unde age person using my cell phone driving 95mph in a 70 on I-15 and not pay as much??? Or i could be a underage using my cell phone not wearing my seat belt doing 85mph in a 70 zone and pay almost the same price??? WTF CALIFORNIA???? SO YOU TRAP ME IN YOUR NEVER ENDING HOV LANE AND WHEN I WANT OUT YOU CHARGE ME 480$ ticket!!!!

Why were you in the HOV lane in the first place? Follow the law and it's not an issue.

Better is to know where you are going and if the hov lane is a correct option to use knowing that it does go for 10 plus miles on the I15 with no exit.
Sorry no sympathy for you being in the lane and crossing the double yellows to exit. There are signs posted all up and down the highway telling you the minimum violation fees and how far between exits.

i had passengers and was following navigation directions, its not the sympathy or lack of me knowing the laws. Its that i can not be wearing a seat belt, texting and speeding all at the same time and still around the same price.

I am not complaining, i think most people are confusing my Rant. Its the simple misguided fines that california puts in place. Should the fine for doing 25mph over the speed limit be less than crossing a line? I can answer my own question in the sense that most people get caught speeding, most dont pay anyways leading into a deficit of unpaid tickets. So please dont take my rant as i am mad that i got the ticket. I was simply putting the misguided fine amounts out there.
