Quietest Aftermarket Exhaust
So I know most people buy aftermarket for more sound, so this is an odd question but I want to know what is the quietest aftermarket exhaust? Borla Touring? Anything cheaper?

Your cheapest bet is probably going back to the stock trash can mufflers. And you have a quiet and drone free system.

Yeah I know that really is the best overall choice, but not an option for me. I have ZL1 rear difusser and need quad tips......guess I could get some welded on.

The quietest system out there is definitely the Magnaflow street series 2.5" catback, however it's not available with quad tips. You could easily get some welded on though.
The quietest quad tip system will be the Magnaflow ZL1 catback. It has a very low, deep and smooth tone. Welding quad tips on the factory mufflers doesn't work out as there's not enough space to make them sit properly. Best regards, Tyler 888-308-6007 |

The Borla Touring is the only thing coming to mind.

I don't know about cheaper, but Corsa is ALWAYS a good choice for good performance and a quiet tone.

We used to use turbocharged Corvair mufflers. I do remember someone found a free flowing muffler that was even more quiet...from a John Deere tractor, I believe. It was as quiet as an Caddy El Dorado, but flowed very well. I LOVED that pure quiet but free flowing sound.

Magnaflow Street Series. Quieter than stock but a lot deeper making it still sound very aggressive and at WOT sounds great! this is what I have.

I put Corsa on my ZL1 and it was quieter than stock, but when you add headers and cam it's probably one of the loudest out there. Still no drone, but my car literally wakes the dead at 2500 rpm and higher. Sounds awesome on the track. Modern07 has the same system as I do and he's adding Solo resonators to quiet it down. |

Magnaflow Competition was perfect. Wasn't loud at all with headers. WOT it woke up
