I also want to share that yesterday morning I had a 800 DA on the way to work and I was clear to go full throttle on a long, sweeping on-ramp. OMG. It pulled so damn hard right into, and after, the shift! Scary fast on street surfaces

Yes. Seriously. I've owned the car for all of two weeks now.

Under the driving circumstances that trigger that message, it's actually kind of difficult to try and read and retain something that pops up for about 1 second while you're trying to keep an eye on the road.

Anyway...

From what I've seen it basically means the transmission waits until the best possible time to upshift. You get the redline performance of a manual with the faster shifting of an automatic. And it makes the commute a whole lot funner.
