When I was buying my car about a month ago my salesman showed me a sneak peak of that car, it's bad ass and you can even get it without air conditioning like the classic one.

Ditto. I saw that one of the magazine tests (Road & Track, I think) incorrectly referred to their test car, in the data panel, as a 2015. I have to assume this is just a mistake on the part of Barrett-Jackson...

they are making 2014 and 2015 cars. So to get a 15 first would be weird. I think your understanding is incorrect?
