Radar Dector questions!

What is the best radar detector on the market or which one have you had the best experience with?

Not worried about the cost.

I have escort 9500 and like it. Next person will tell you v1. Both are the only two I'd use

You are right. I'm going to tell you to get a V1. In my opinion they are the best. With radar detectors you have to spend money to get a decent one. I'm running a $30 Cobra (what 99% of America has) and the thing is trash. It's only good for detecting motion sensors.

Passport 8500 for the money. I got mine on Ebay for 199.00, haven't had a ticket in 7 years since I have had it.

9500ix. Great with iPhone app.
It gives me an average of a little over 1 mile notice.

Not the reason I bought mine, quite the opposite actually....

And that is why they have stealth installs available as well.

Most officers down here are pretty laid back when it comes to upper middle class in nice cars unless you are really flat outright speeding ( 20+ over) or reckless or racing. they are more interested in the illegal immigrants with no licenses or insurance which is a serious issue here in Houston.

You know, you're absolutely right. Every cop should just always issue and never gove warnings. How dare they ever cut anyone some slack.

Same up here..... They give you 15 or 20.... Seems to be Texas wide when it comes to that.... We have a road with an 85 limit...
