I have not noticed this with my headers or catback. Is all the heat shielding still in place around the exhaust under the car?

The heat shielding is the only thing I can think of, but there's really no reason why it shouldn't be there. It doesn't need to be removed for the install. Maybe give your shop a call. Do all your gauges look normal?

How does the LT ceramic coating look, does it have light-spots on it?

I just got headers and high flows and no heat issues. This is the first I hear of it.

You can always heat wrap that area if you needed to....

I have ceramic coated lt headers and had hf cats. No heat issues in cabin. Although, my cats blew out shortly after the install. The only way I knew this was because the driver's side exhaust was very hot and the passenger side was slightly warm and almost no exhaust pressure exiting the tail pipe. Possibly the cats blew out and the material is stuck in your exhaust, x-pipe, etc.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but will wrapping my headers really cut down on the heat in the engine compartment to make it worth while to remove them and wrap them. im running billy boat long tubes and my interior is not effected by any heat increase.
