WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED!!

Just as it says, what the heck happened to the price of wheels!!! I was looking and pricing a set of wheels for a forum member exactly like mine, the MRR M228's in the brushed/polished finish on Phastek for the staggered set, 20x10 and 20x11 and saw the price is now 1998 bucks!!!! Plus 54 for the lugs to go with them. WOW... I recall I only paid 1389 for mine thru Carlos at MRR Designs and he threw in the lugs for free. And when I did purchase them the price on Phastek was also 1389, plus the lugs of course. I see now there is a company out there called OE Creations and they are selling them for 1629 for the same size as mine, plus lugs, Wow!! I was pricing them because I am thinking of possibly selling mine, they are only a year old, and have brand new tires and TPMS's on all 4 wheels. Those prices are really crazy..

Everything has gone up even the value of our cars and they are usually a depreciating asset.

Yea I see that. But still, that's just nuts.. I'd hate to look and see how much the "more expensive" wheels are now. lol.

Supply chain shortages are effecting most items.

I was looking to replace the radar detector in my Camaro with the same model that I just put in my new truck back in March, and it has gone up $100.

Wow, that's just insane... Guess i need to just keep my M228's with new tires and TPMS's and not sell them like I was going to, wouldn't be able to afford new wheels again!! lol.
