A squirrel chewed up my car

I went to start my car today and it ran rough and i could smell fuel. Popped the hood and found my fuel line was chewed through. Also my coolant hose has nibble marks and the hood insulator is all chewed up too. After i repaired the fuel hose it still misfired so after taking the engine cover off i found the engine wire harness for the fuel injectors is all chewed up too.[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

Squirrels can really f up a car, this happened in 4 hours after i parked it. Progressive is coming to look at it tomorrow. The wire harness for the fuel injectors is all chewed through right at the end of the plug so it needs a new harness. And to think i used to feel bad for them when i saw them squished on the pavement. Not any more.

All jokes aside, I hope you don't have any problems with repairs.

It should be an easy fix. Ive parked my impala in the same exact spot for the last 10 years and never had a problem. They ate up my camaro 6 months after i got it...

There are many news articles about rabbits doing this same shit in the Denver area. It is a particular problem in the parking lots and garages at the Denver International airport. Apparently they like the soy-based wiring in the cars.

Yeah, this was at a university in another city. There were so many squirrels everywhere and you know college kids try to feed them so they aren't afraid of people. I had to go grab something from my car and that little bastard was eating a nut right on top of my car.
