Umm...New Flowmaster NPP exhaust with Hurst tips? Love Flowmasters so no compliants, but looks to be a rebrand.

Yeah. As soon as I saw the system, it immediately looked dead on like the Flowmaster system--which I have no inherent problem with. Just tripped me out. I suppose since they all fall under the same company, that makes sense to a degree. Are there any changes at all with this system vs the Flowmaster version?

You are correct. The Hurst Elite Series Dual Mode Axle-back system is essentially a re-branded version of our sister company Flowmaster's American Thunder Dual Mode system. The differences are that The Hurst system features the Hurst "H" logo on the tips and on the non-seam side of the muffler cases. Essentially, we produced this system as an option for Camaro owners that wanted a dual mode setup and may be running some of our other Hurst Elite Series components or are in the process of putting together a Hurst Elite Series car.

Nothing wrong with that at all. Is there a price difference between the two?

I have the hurst shifter and love flowmaster series 40 mufflers on my other cars. So I would buy the hurst version just to match my shifter!

Thanks for asking. We have actually priced the Hurst Elite Series Dual Mode system a bit lower than the Flowmaster. Traditionally, Hurst has been known for our manual shifters, Roll Control units, wheels, etc. We're hoping that the price difference will give consumers some added incentive to pick up a Hurst exhaust system and potentially add some momentum to this and the rest of our Elite Series line of products like HP Spring Kits, Floor Mats, Graphics Packs, etc.

So would these bolt up directly to the midpipe kit that flowmasters sells for these cars?

I have the Flowmaster version hooked up to the Flowmaster X-Pipe and I don't feel there is any drone. I've have had many, many muscle cars with loud exhaust and drone. This system is excellent and quiet if you want, loud if you want and not annoying drone with or without the valves closed By the way, I get compliments everywhere I go with the exhaust. I'm super happy I waited for it!
