I was just informed I've overbooked myself and can't make it that weekend, crud. The search continues...

Went back out to Pitt Race on Monday. Met two other Camaro guys and managed to shave 4 seconds off since last time, still room for improvement but met my goal of getting under 2 minutes.

Thanks. Yup stock super car 3's. Just about worn out after 5 events. I think if this last day had been dry the whole time they would have probably corded at some point in the afternoon. The rears are wearing the outside quicker than the inner edge even with camber maxed out. Might have to figure something out for next season.

The rears?! PS Yep very impressed by how much grip stockers offer, especially for the price. Sub 2min is a superb pace indeed!

Yes I was surprised also but the rears are definitely wearing the outer edge quicker. The front's seem to be wearing pretty even with maxed camber.

Agreed, have been very impressed with these tires. I'm on the fence on what to run next season. Would really like to get a 19" setup and run the SC3R's in a 305 square setup. Those tires are actually slightly cheaper than the OEM fitment SC3's.

On the G3R's, with -2.7x front camber, in three track days at Motorsports Ranch Cresson (3.1-mile two days, 1.3 one day), I corded the outside of the RF and was about to on the LF. The rear G3R's have one, maybe two, track days left.

The regular G3's lasted probably three times longer and the rear outer corded first with -1.8x rear camber. Impressed with both tires, but may try Nitto NT01's next on the ZL1 1LE wheels. They have 6/32" vs. 3 to 4/32" tread depth.

I rotate side to side after each track day if a two-day same direction weekend.

Good info, thanks for the feedback! Were the G3R's noticeable stickier? I'd be curious how they compare to the NT01's if you go that route.

Did you modify anything to get -1.8° in the rear? I maxed out at -1.6°.

Yes on grip for the G3R as expected. Not sure they are worth it for how quickly they will wear. That's a personal call. I know most R tires are reduced tread depth, but, at least the RE71R are 8/32" not 3 to 4/32".

On rear, no mods to the holes / bolts, but, I'm sure there is variation between parts plus alignment equipment for measurements.
