Put down another interested in a OSX version of your program.
I tried streaming through bluetooth from my phone and had to crank the volume way up. When I switched back to satellite it was a very rude surprise.

Okay! I am just doing a little more testing and filling out the doc. Any day now for Beta 1.
I also have a way for CarPlaylist to format bigger than 32 GB USB drives. It's not pretty but it works thanks to: http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/ I looked at many options and tried coding my own. But this one was the winner. So if this app interests you PM Me and I will send you a Download link. Currently for PCs only. I formatted my 64 GB USB and loaded it up with a ton of playlists. It did take the SS a bit of time to index it, but man it's nice to have just about everything I would want to listen to in my car for $15. Also I have read on here about people "bricking" thier USB. It is not too hard to mess up the USB file system but: Windows Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management can probably help you. I did "brick" my 64 bit USB but I went over there to Disk Management, deleted the volume and added a new one. All fixed. Be careful which drive you are messing with. There is a DiskPart Dos utility but leave that one for the geeks.

I think once I get the doc sorted I will record Utube to show how it works. Enjoying my loaded up USB and surprisingly the Camaro is fast at getting the music started. Anyone have experience with USB on older Camaros or other cars? I never tried this on my three 5th gens.

Finishing up the last part of the original doc. I think my next step will be to see if I can get CarPlaylist to work on android phone storage. That might be very useful.

USB drives are so much better than Ipods on the Camaro. And much cheaper too. Not much interest in an Andriod playlist builder yet.

Yep replaced my iPod with a 32GB USB3.0 stick. Only problem I am having is annoying issues with some album art not displaying even though it's encoded into the mp3 itself.

I have seen that too. Must be a limitation of the MYLink software.

Just joined the club and got my 32GB stick loaded and playing.
I have two issues (with USB, not the CarPlayList):

As for the gain, that's common. Radio always seems to have a higher gain. I rarely use the radio so never notice. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk

Have support for 64gb SanDisk Cruzer Fit yet?
I'm still trying to compress my music collection to fit onto it. Got it down to 72.4GB. Need to get down to the formatted 59GB capacity. =( |

But also the car may take more time to scan the USB on startup with that much music. My 64 GB USB with about 20GB takes a couple of minutes. Not sure if the car USB interface is 3.0, but given that it does not support NTFS I doubt it. Come on Chevy!

There are a number of CPL users out there. Let us know how it goes. CPL is still just Beta, I would imagine there are issues. Free updates!
Also anyone know anything about accessing Android folders on a PC? I thought it would be easy, but so far not so much.
