Just curious because I thought you were supposed to use 1:1 which I believe is 7th.
just safety. most guys are doing their pulls in sixth. the mph is just so high in 7th.

7th gear is 1to1 in those trans but the pulls are way longer than in 6th. Some people dyno in 6th for shorter pulls and some claim they will show more power in 6th but who knows the truth

How does the exhaust noise compare to stock while cruising and when you are in the throttle wide open?

good question. this was my biggest concern. i was very pleased to find that driving with the valves closed, it is only a small amount louder, and i had zero problem talking on the phone. With the valves open its noticeably more aggressive but not excessive. However, under WOT it is absolutely BRUTAL sounding. it has a real ripping sound. definitely not the traditional big block camaro sound from the 60's/70's but oddly enough far more exotic than i had anticipated. It sounds very similar to my old 2012 m3 with with long tube headers and dinan exhaust.

This is true. Mine was over 180 mph on the dyno in 7th.

I wonder what OnStar thought?

Those are impressive numbers. I like seeing numbers on 93 octane instead of with meth and E85. The mods you have are the same ones I will be doing. Also with just a safe dyno. Nothing aggressive. Hopefully I'll be doing mine in the next few months.

My 5th gear and 6th gear dyno pulls were within a couple hp of each other.

fit perfect, their first run was pretty close to the front frame rail, but they've been updated and mine fit absolutely perfect. zero issues.

yeah man im totally satisfied with it. ive never been a believer in the meth setups because the risk of failure is too high. and e85 is just a hassle.

no i don't but the DI motors run leaner than traditional. my 991 Porsche was in the 13's from the factory.
