Nah, I don’t need fully reclining seats in this car.

I thought the Recaro's still reclined fully, but I guess not?...Pretty shady if they did fully recline, but now they don't. There has never been a clear explanation or reasons given for what is going on with these seats and how much they recline, stock or Recaro.... |

I've been thinking about doing it to my seats. I've just never seen anyone do it on the Recaros yet, and don't really want to be the first. They do not recline very far at all. I have mine maxed out for normal driving, and I'm by no means sitting "gangsta" style.
I'd really like to know why they designed them like that. Liability reasons? I mean, it would be really easy to crush a rear seat passenger by simply moving the seat back. I don't think the full recline function would make it any more dangerous. |

I'm going to bet this was a pre-production car. I'm pretty sure all production ZL1s have the limiter stops on them. |

Try and take that last drink from a mug and you have to turn sideways to tilt your head back. Maybe the Ask Al Thread on this one will pan out. |

I see. I was kind of disappointed about the non-reclining issue as I daily drive my ZL1 to work...and after pulling double shifts, I do take naps in the car from time to time. Hard to do in a ZL1...and the rock hard headrests don't help either lol

I would probably guess that everyone has their seat set to max recline. Hence, you would know if you had the limited already.

Same! I work on a military base, so I get there early each day to avoid long security lines. I *try* to nap in my car before shift, but the seat doesn't like me. My '13 1LE laid almost flat...I remember those good naps...
