I don't blame you at all, I don't know how to figure the cost of my mods, but I know if I paid for all of it to be done I would have over 18k in mods alone lol. I agree, even 29k is a heck of a deal.

The Chevy SS is not what I'm after. It's a nice car and has good power for what it is, but it just doesn't fit me.

I have a Silverado as my daily driver and it works well with the family. We also have a Traverse which my wife mostly drives and is our long trip vehicle. The Camaro is for weekends and evenings.

I felt the same way. I owned a G8 GT for almost 5 years and loved that car, the SS didn't quite do it for me always felt like something missing. I do love my Scat Pack Charger. One hell of a car for the money.

I had an M3. Great car, but probably a bit spendy.

If it's not too small for you, I'd suggest an Audi A3/S3/RS3 (depends on how much power you want/how much you want to spend). Probably the best daily driver sedan out there, IMO.

If that's too small, then maybe an A4/S4, although I prefer the smaller size.

I will say that after tons of research online and watching vids, I was ready to buy an SS Sedan. Went down to do it, but on the test drive, I just wasn't impressed. It was a good car all around, no doubt...but they wanted like $46k, and wouldnt budge. For that price, I got the 1LE SS Camaro and am much happier. If it was $40k otd, I would have done it, but I think they're about 7-10k overpriced. Also, the gas mileage is terrible.

2016 Subaru WRX Base, 6 speed manual with STI short throw shifter. Turbocharged, fun to drive, AWD, a lot of rear seat leg room. Fits by gran daughter's car seat no problem. I also have a set of Yakima roof racks and I haul wood, kayaks, bikes, etc. 0-60 in 5.5 (not the fastest out there) but when the roads are wet or inclement it just grips the road and goes. It handles really well. One of the best things and so surprising is the MPG- I get 32-33 combined and 38-40 on the highway. I paid 28K for the car brand new in 2016 and resale value is one of the best of any car out there.

Yep they have a gas guzzler tax of $1200.

The manual avoids the GGT. Only the automatic has it.

If you are looking for lots of space than take a Bimmer F34 3 series GT the font is bigger than a 5 series.

The Kia Stinger is pretty quick. Quicker than an SS.

And with the hatchback, lots of easily accessible cargo room.

My dealer told me the Manual did also - I was about to buy a black manual one and we were crunching the numbers

That is the quickest time for the Stinger GT yet and would be the slowest time for an SS (Idk if there are some differences with the Holden).. Seems very hard to believe for a car with 365 horsepower and weighs over 4,000 pounds in RWD and 4,150 with AWD..
