i wouldnt recommend putting it in the oven. the headlights are glued with a silicon type adhesive that when heated will soften. the plexi on the instrument cluster is a super glue that will not soften up no matter how much you heat it. i tried that method on a similar project, thats how i know. you might be able to use a "hot knife" or dremmel. just my $0.02.

If it's super glue than just use acetone or nail polish remover. Apply it with a Q-tip and the plexi glass will come right off.

It will also dull the hell out of the plexi if you let it run over.

I recommend a good razor blade and alot of care.
