2014 ZL1

Does anyone have a thought or inside track on what the changes are on the 2014 model year?
I can't imagine that it will be very much if the new style is due out in a year or two....
Either way it will be interesting to see what changes there are at the end of the month.

I hope they keep the hp constant at 580 through out all of the zl1 5th gen production years. I wont be to happy seeing a 650 plus hp zl1 a few months after getting my 2013. This will mean some ZL1s model years will be less desirable. A small slap on the cheek for all those who spent a fortune and maybe a premium to get the "first" one.

I think they will probably keep the ZL1 at 580. Putting an LS9 is just too expensive for the car, but you never know. What I think will happen is an LS7. If they call it a Z28, it wont be bad for ZL1 owners as its a different model. If they put the LS7 in the ZL1 I don't think it would be bad either, as you wouldn't have a power bump, just more choices. My two cents

Well said! The technology in this car surpasses that of the 2012 with the addition of the mylink radio. Every year there will be something else to improve upon. You can't own em all. At least that's what my paycheck tells me so I am blessed to have this one and very content.

It would be a bit disappointing if too much was changed that's for sure considering its only about one year since the first ZL1 was delivered.
To change very much seeing as how it is still a very new model for the Camaro would deifinatley be disappointing for any of the owners
I guess vehicles change like computers and electronics these day's
I would think it will be some cosmetic features like new rim selections and paint colors I guess we will see shortly.
I do know that I can't wait for this extrememly long long winter weather to end...

Only way there's going to be a 650+hp ZL1 is if they use the LS9...and then you're looking at a $65-$70k ZL1 coupe. Doubt that will happen.

Also - don't think of advancement and progress as a "slap on the cheek"...it's been two years...if there was a hp bump...it's the nature of the auto industry, not an insult to the enthusiastic first buyers.

just slap a pulley and tune and you will meet or exceed whatever the factory does in 2014+...if you're worried about warranty find a dealership that warranties mods like this or just wait until your warranty expires and enjoy the car with "no tune" mods until then

To be honest with you I hope they don't it would be great to have one of a very few that are in Canada. I was in Oshawa this week and went by the plant and there is a lot of camaros sitting with a lot of snow on them and yes there were a lot of ZL1's
