1SS for 20k on eBay

New to the forums here, but wanted to post because I need some advice. I was looking through eBay as the prices are better than what's available up here in NH/MA and saw an auction for a 2012 1SS for a Buy It Now of 20k. I thought well yellow isn't my first choice but I decided for the price why not, the mileage is super low, clean carfax, and it's probably worth it. So after thinking about it for a bit I hit "Buy it Now". Well turns out I get an eBay request for cancellation shortly afterwards which gave me the option to accept the cancellation or not to. I declined the cancellation and don't really know what to do now. The dealer says they don't want to sell at this price. I've heard of other people getting their cars in similar situations so I want to see if anybody else has advice or suggestions. Also, I've been a "lurker" as in not registered but read a lot on here and love the community.

I sent an ebay message to the dealer stating that I want to make a deposit and asked how they were taking deposits.

Here's the auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2dr-C...t_40846wt_1220

Number: 271186523787

Also - wow! fast replies!

Updated to add that I hit the "buy it now" option and am myself the purchaser.

A low mile 2012 SS for $20,000 sounds like a scam.
Are you sure you are talking to a dealer or someone in Nigeria?
If I was buying it, I would get a red eye flight out tonight and be waiting at the dealership door tomorrow morning.
As they say, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
In the meantime, do not send a deposit to anyone.

If it really is a dealer, it might be one of their tried and true bait and switch techniques

It sounds a bit sketchy, 20K for a low mileage SS is super cheap. My 2010 2LT/RS with 21,000 miles was more than that when I got it last summer. I would for sure do a bit more research before putting down anything.

I thought so too but they do have a good feedback score and I noticed it was from a dealer. The fact that they sent me an ebay message afterwards saying the price was a mistake makes me think it's not a scam.

Have you called Sterling McCall Acura just to confirm the auction was legit? You need to talk to a real person at the dealer.
Someone could have hacked the dealer's ebay account.
If it is, hop on flight to Houston tonight.

The auction says it sold 20k and some change. Maybe someone got a good deal.

Oh yeah, no kidding! I'm going to give them a call in the morning regarding the deposit as I still haven't gotten back a reply through the ebay message after getting the one about the price being a typo.
