Is the '17 ZL1 a dry sump like the Z06?

No. It has a conventional wet oil system.

Yes, I've got the PDR but I haven't had a chance to try it yet. I need to buy an ssd card.

Sorry to be asking so many questions but I'm seriously considering the new ZL1 over the Vette, but haven't seen one yet. I've seen a couple videos that show new ZL1's with black seat belts and I thought they now had red seat belts... what color are yours? Any regrets leaving your Gen 5 behind?

My seat belts are red. The red belts come with the following external colors:
  • red hot
  • nightfall gray metallic
  • silver ice metallic
  • summit white
  • mosaic black metallic (my car's color)
  • black

So far no regrets with the trade. The car is a significant upgrade over my 5th gen ZL1. The added creature comforts by themselves such as the Recaro memory seat, keyless entry/start, side mirror blind-spot sensors, Apple/Android CarPlay, ventilated seats, automatic climate control make the trade up a no brainer in my opinion.

Thought I'd share some daylight photos of the car I took over the weekend.
