I ordered and installed the Hurst sts myself, the badge was included. I paid extra to get the T-shifter handle.

It's not a difficult install if you have a few tools, jackstands and a place to do it, if you have any mechanical inclinations at all, it's easy (I did it, I'm no mechanic, and I'm a girl.)

My '68 convertible had the Hurst badge, so I added it to this one when I ordered the short-throw. Just wish it meant more than a shifter like it did in the 60's!

I always remember the badge on the left side of the trunk lid on the older cars.

Totally agree with shaving the bowties. Mine were off before the engine cooled the day I drove it home. Badges that size belong on trucks.

I was sort of bummed with my factory Hurst as well...Wasn't old-school enough...Get the Hurst billet-plus short throw...All kinds of chrome sticks and shift-balls fit on that one...

I like the little factory ones that go on the side of the shit knob on the SS, if I could just buy the knob or the mini bageds I would, I dont care for anything else, they look too dated, totaly dont match the look of the car.

Mine came with the factory Hurst. The badge was in the glove box, but it's different than most in this thread, and the shifter knob is different than the one above on my '13
