If I make it 3 years with a vehicle it's a unusual. I average about 1.5 years. I'll probably be ready to replace it when the 2017's come out. That should give them some time to work out the kinks with the new model.

My ZL1 is the best (not most expensive) car that I've ever had. That said, I need to experience as many high performance cars in my life as I can. In two winters I figure on trading for a C7 ZR1, maybe C7 Z51 if I can get over my HP craze.
If I had the room I'd keep my ZL1 and would've kept my: 2006 Alpine White BMW M3 vert (E46) - the best combination of beauty, class, value, and performance in the car world at the time. Flying along Ocean Pkwy in Long Island with the top down and the ocean breeze in my hair. Sounds like a Billy Joel song. 2008 Jerez Black Metallic BMW M3 Sedan (E90) - the perfect family car for the driving nut. 1995 Pontiac Firehawk

i love my car more than anything too, but hey if i become a family man (hopefully in the next couple of years) and she isn't paid off yet, i'm gonna have to let her go. Need a truck for work, too... uh, i'm getting ahead of myself. I'm just gonna live for today and drive the sh*t out of my SS.

I will keep mine forever, and give it to my little girl. I bought the car in August 2013 and after almost a year I only have 1200 miles on the car.
I will do a bunch of performance mods after the warranty expires, so why dump all the money into it and not have it last forever?

I plan on keeping mine for years. I always wanted to be the old guy with a cool car... I do have a wandering eye for sports cars though. I'm looking for a Gen3 that I can wrench on as soon as I find a place to store it...

So far I've managed to hold on to a '77 FJ40 Land Cruiser, a '90 Silverado and a '03 Jeep Rubicon. I think I would like to hold on to the '13 1LE to the point of kind'a regretting the RS package and the hole in the roof but then again, I could see myself trading for a C7 '15 Stingray...

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna keep my 2012 SS and pay it off. As far as cars I wish I didn't get rid of...defiantly my 2002 Bright Rally Red Camaro Z28. Is it ok that I tell you guy I actually cried a bit a couple weeks after I traded it in?

I don't know. It'll be 5 years in a month or so and it'll be paid off. I've had my truck for 15 years and it's not going anywhere. The Camaro only gets used 6 months or so out of the year. I don't see it ever leaving. I've had other cars but none as special as these two to me. I don't think I could let it go. In fact if it were ever totaled in a wreck I'm not sure how I would deal. lol

Man, I'm surprised how many people plan to keep their Camaros forever!
I can only afford one "nice car" at a time and I have about a three year attention span, so something will happen in 2017. Cars just keep getting better and better and I can't wait!

I plan to keep mine as long as possible. I love the way these gen 5's look. Ive had a lot of cars but the only one i regret getting rid of was my 2003 cobra. Having this new camaro is quickly making that regret go away though.

I'll be done with graduate school in two years so probably then. I'll be looking for a Hellcat Challenger, a C7, or a 6th gen Camaro if it looks good. However, if I get into a doctorate program then I'll wait.
