2023 ZL1??

I ordered a 2022 ZL 1 mid january, and it sounds like I'm #2-3 in line in terms of allocation of ZL1's.

Any idea on how long that's taking?

Any info on if they're even going to offer a 23? or when they would?

I am in the same boat. I ordered a 2SS 1LE in Dark Cherry and my color goes away on the 3rd. So ya, I am also looking at a 23. My understanding is we will know what they are offering in May and production starts in June.

Same boat I suspect. Ordered back in December. Don't think I will be lucky to get a MY22. I can wait, but I am concerned they are going to discontinue the Orange Metallic.

Ordered my vivid orange metallic ZLE in June 2021. Car finally built 1/31/22 and now Chevrolet informs me my estimated delivery date is March 29 plus or minus a couple of weeks per the dealer. So a $75K Camaro is going to sit in a parking lot in Detroit, exposed to the rain, snow and temperatures in the teens for two months until we can finally get this long overdue order delivered. Sad and disappointing. Good luck with your orders as they have to be better than my experience. Nice touch that my email updates from Chevrolet contain grammatical errors and misspelled words too from "GMC.com." Painful, painful, painful and I'm really losing interest.

"The ETA on your Camaro has been changed to 3/29/2022. As I said, distribution and shipping logistics are crazy right now and it could change frequently until your car arrives."

Chevy verbiage: "The vehicle has been produced and released to the carrier and it's currently in one of our distribution center in Lansing, MI. No ETA ye as of this time. Please be confident that the right people are taking the right steps to ensure you receive only the highest quality product. Thank you for your patience." I'm not sure salted parking lots, rain and snow in subfreezing temps for 8 weeks will yield the highest quality product.

I ordered in June last year....vivid orange. Still have not started the build according to my chevy dealer. Probably won't happen for a 2022. Now have to wait for 2023.

I am not sure why, but I have always had such great luck finding cars in the Virginia, Delaware, Maryland greater area. Not just sports cars in the winter either, just seem to have great stock and fair deals anytime I have done purchases out of state.

I ordered my car in March of 2018, and got it in June. I told the dealer not to touch it until I got there. It looked like it was in a tornado, covered in mud, even under the hood. Really disappointing.

I wrote the head of GM customer service about taking better car of cars in transport, maybe giving the Camaro a cover like the Corvettes. I got a phone call about 6 weeks later from some dumb bitch who had obviously not even read the letter, had no clue what I was complaining about, and offered me a free oil change to make me go away. Also disappointing.

If you mean wild cherry tintcoat, that color is going away in 2023. Might want to reach out to your dealership as having a color that's not available will make things even more constrained than they are now.

2022 likely the final model year for Wild Cherry and Satin Steel on Camaro.

I think the current delivery issues resides specifically with the 2021/22 ZL1's with the 1LE track package and the PDR option. Those constraints coupled now with delayed logistics services. The ZLE parts have not all been available for the 1LE package during the last few quarters and the PDR production output has been shifted to the Vettes and other GM products. No need to prioritize service to customers that are purchasing a car that is being phased out of production.

just put $500 down on an incoming ZL1 1LE that a dealer just had coming in. they are doing $750 under MSRP so i had to jump on it even though its not outfitting the way id want it built. they said its actually built but just sitting. i assume its waiting on a chip. no clue how long its been sitting or how long it'll take. we shall see. maybe tomorrow ill ask when the build request was put in.
