Ceramic White gets dirty easy?
I was wondering from those of you who currently or have in the past owned white interior vehicles how hard it is to keep clean. I've considered getting the Hyper Blue/Ceramic White combo, but I'm concerned the seats would get dye from jeans and what not on them, and that the white threading on the steering wheel might get pretty nasty from hand oils. My gf's Infiniti has a lite cream leather interior and her jeans have rubbed blue onto the driver's seat over the last couple of years. I've heard that it's common with lite color interiors. Any opinions?

Yes it gets dirty easy, but I had it sealed and it cleans up easy. If I drive it daily I clean it weekly, but I have my 5th Gen and truck to choose from.
In the past, if you don't keep light colors clean they can become really hard to clean.

Yes the white plasticized leather is very susceptible to die transfer from jeans…. A good multi surface cleaner, like diluted woolite , Or 409, will Usually take it off, once clean, try 303 or a protectant like poorboys natural look.....but you can be proactive and lay down just a seat towel that they sell, or a seat blanket like an Aries seat defender, or just not wear jeans on white…
Fancy leather conditioners really don't do any good, they smell nice but the leather is encapsulated in a plastic finish, so whatever you clean plastic with , works on the seats. Read here http://www.goldeagle.com/tips-tools/...her-upholstery |

Good info...I have a Summit White / Ceramic White being built. I refuse to put a damned towel down so I will adjust my clothing preferences.
How many washes do you think jeans need before they stop transferring color? Is it forever or like 10 washes? |

I had a couple of cars with all white interior over the years. They look great when new, but they are very hard to keep that way.

What product is everyone planning to use to clean their Ceramic White? Took delivery yesterday but definitely worried about how it will look 2-3 years from now !

Before I tried using all kinds of leather cleaners and frankly they are all shit. Finally I discovered something that actually cleans the leather... degreaser. I dilute it with about equal parts water and use a micro fiber or tooth brush depending on the shape and size of the surface. Works like a charm. Never had any issues with the leather being damaged or anything like that. I'm sure other kinds of all purpose cleaner may work also.
