Mlee--want to thank you for doing all these combinations and reporting back to us..I'm on the fence on a new ZL1 to replace my 2012, and what the ZL1 can do stock in the real world is definitely important!!!

Thanks for sharing. So everything full off was a handful? Where you running the stock goodyears (tire pressures?) and stock camber, etc... or did you go with an competitive alignment, etc... Any lessons learned?

Hated to get rid of my 2012 but this is just so much more. Time to go back to work for a couple weeks but will get back out soon and try again. More are getting their break in miles on so we should be nailing some of this down.

Everything off was at the drag strip the night before and it spun bad. More work to go there.

For this AutoX course Sport 1 was perfect and with stock everything including tire pressure. No way you would ever want to go all off here. I was running the timing equipment so didn't get to run until we finished all the classes. I could romp on it with very little tire spin and at the 1st cone you can see it hit 4th gear and then keep the RPMs up the entire course all in auto mode. No need to manual shift here since it was spot on all the way thought. With more time I would have tried out Sport 2.

The car is more than the 70HP increase. The car is the sum of its parts, did it lose its muscle car feel? YA it kinda did BUT for the better!!

It has all the tech and comfort items it should have had in 2012.

Car feels like its 500lbs less than the 5th gen.

I'm still in break in and didn't go over 4G yet, but its torquey as hell.

You have to understand.. I am a straight line person (with decent handling), and my 2012 has a stage 1 package that puts it at almost 600 hp at the wheels...probably just as fast as the new ZL1.....when I factor in the loss on a trade or sell and the additional cost for a new one, for me may not be worth it......

I can certainly understand that. My 2012 was at 675 and I sold last Aug for $37k in mint condition with all the best mods.

Now that I have this one, I'm very happy with my decision.
