Anyone else suffer let down from daily driver?

Start again by saying how much I love this version of the ZL1! Just a joy to drive.
For me however my ZL1 isn't a daily driver. Enter let down.
I drive a Lexus GS460 day to day and love the car and Lexus brand. V8 4.6 liter, she can move and doesn't make me depressed when not in the Chevy.

HOWEVER!! Bit of an accident past week and Lexi will be in the shop for a month. ENTER Hyundai!!!!! Yes, the loaner for the next month!
6 cyl front wheel drive beast from Korea. WTF!???

Does anyone else get this major let down feeling when driving anything other than the ZL!?? My goodness! It's like going from having super powers to joining a knitting class.

My daily driver is a Colorado with baby Duramax, and I truly enjoy driving that truck. That being said, when I drive my wife's Wrangler, I feel underwhelmed. 1st world problems!

The only way my daily would be a letdown would be if it was my one and only vehicle. I DD an Equinox AWD V6. Really, I like driving it. Gets me to work and back, gets groceries, drives through the tunnel wash, takes regular gas, it's cheap, I can park it wherever and give zero you-know-whats, and it helps keep my Camaro special. If I didn't have the Camaro, yeah, I would hate the Equinox. But it's a great DD and really makes the ZL1 shine on the special days when I take it out.

Assume there's a complicated reason it can't just become your DD?

Why don't you just drive the Camaro every day unless the weather is bad? I bet groceries would fit in the trunk of the ZL1 too. At worst, a couple times a week.

My daily driver drinks just as much gas, but there's almost nothing it can't do and specializes in pulling my vintage toys across country in unparalleled comfort. Not to mention all 4 wheels spin at once. It's the perfect alternative to the ZL1, which to me isn't very comfortable for a guy my size, but nonetheless a joy to drive.

My daily driving consists of 300-400 on average in a 2011 3/4 ton with 270,000 miles...The oil patch is still in a slump & not sure what the pain threshold is for my employer, but I most am certainly ready for a new company truck!!

I'm limited to 6000miles with my ins on the Z which isn't going to be a problem...personally, I am digging the limited driving with this car. Makes it that much more special running errands after work & weekends, but I think it should be a law that if you have problems with your snazzy daily driver, they have to give you a loaner of equal or better value.

Explain the all terrain badges on a truck with chrome bumpers? The All terrain sierras have painted bumpers.

Hold on bub, when I'm not in the, zl1 I'm normally in my Hyundai elantra...all 145hp worth of it WITH a spoiler. Ooooh, yeah. So if you gotta problem with your loaner, you gotta problem with me; and my entire elantra crew.

Joking aside, i totally feel you. The designated fun car prior to the camaro was my 350z. I love it, but whenever i get in it now, it feels so unrefined and analogue compared to the beast.

I feel your pain op, haha first world probs indeed but that's what hard work is for. I drive an F250 as my dd and it's a very good substitute for the weekend toys. Thing goes when you want and can take on most everything you throw at it!

I have a buddy who has a 16 Maggie Denali. It went 13.0@105 into a 20 mph headwind. He loves it.

That's what I thought. Bought it brand new and there was another new one in another color just like it. These trucks can be configured in so many ways. I didn't even know that you could get a rear bumper without the foot step, but apparently in 2014 you could. Maybe you still can. But this is a true All Terrain with the special seats with red stitching, gauges and and the rancho suspension and standard 4X4 with hill decent.
