I've only got about 65 miles so far with mine. It was great weather the day I got it and the 2 days after, nothing but rain since. Have an appointment for Xpel the week of April 10, so I won't be driving much until then. Plus the forecast is mostly rain for the next 2 weeks.
The car is amazing in every regard! Starts with the keys! Nicest key remote yet of any car I've had. Love the keyless entry and start! (5th gen didn't have this and it always bothered me for an expensive car). When you sit in that car, the cockpit feels all race car! The Recaro seats are great!!! The customizeable dash, the interior lighting, the color HUD, the radio system, all excellent!!!
Push button start: BOOM! Roars to life and will scare the crap out of you and anyone around on your first cold start!!
The A10 is incredibly fast and smooth. Even with following break in and staying under 4000 rpm, it just rifles through. And the drop in rpm is minimal. Other than the sound, the shifts are not perceivable. Used the paddles once so far and they seemed very responsive both up and down. I can't say if they're instantaneous because I wasn't WOT. But they're a lot of fun.
I really love the engine audio management options. In my 5th gen it was quiet except under WOT. So I pulled the fuse to keep the baffles open. Sometimes it would drone. Now I just adjust the driving mode and it's loud when I want it and quiet if I don't. So far I've used it in Track since it's the loudest. Love that sound!
The styling of the car is way better in person than in photos! That was one of the things that really caught me when I first saw it on delivery. It's striking! Another thing I like is how bright the headlights are at night. Really lights the road well.
A lot of the other things I love are changes from the 5th gen to the 6th and not just ZL1 specific. The interior is one of the biggest. Finally an interior that matches the exterior and the price. The car is smoother, feels lighter, and it's a lot more rigid.

Glad to hear it's feel awesome on so many fronts. Thanks for sharing all the thoughts on it.

I'll be coming from a 2010 so I'm expecting to feel it's a big upgrade, not just in power but in build and interior as well.

FYI - when I was in with the dealer they wanted $3,495 for a 75K and 84 month GMEPP platinum warranty... ah, no thanks. I called the James Black folks this morning and for the same exact warranty it was $1,625. What a difference.

The warranty price goes up every 12K added to the car so I'm thinking of holding out until I'm near 12K just to extend it a bit further.

Does the 84 months start at purchase date or after factory 36 month warranty?.
