I thought one of the events that the 2016 camaro would be at was the Indy 500. Did anyone go and take pictures? Which ones were brought?

Yes, I saw that there.

It looked really nice.

Unfortunately, I was told the interior was pre-production so they couldn't unlock it.

But damn, the exterior looked fine.

And no disrespect to the person who was kind enough to post the photos, but in person, the color was much more vibrant than shows up here.

It's a great looking car in a great looking color.

I'm disappointed with the graphics on the Z06, I know its a sticker job but does it have to look like a sticker job. For the 99th running the car looks a little drab IMOP.

Anyone one know why they didn't use the convertible? I know they used to use them in the past if the vehicle had a convertible version.

This was the perfect opportunity to showcase the 6th gen as the pace car. Too bad it doesn't seem any SS's are available to drive. Hopefully the Camaro gets the next year for the 100th anniversary of the race.

Because the pace car needed to be announced and publicity photos taken before the 6 th gen reveal, that would be taking a big chance that the pictures would have gotten out earlier than they wanted. That plus they would have had to modify a prototype for the light bars and strobes, no production cars made yet.
