Opinions on buying a 2013 hot wheels edition that's been sitting

Going to look at a 2013 hot wheels edition tomorrow morning with 3000 miles on it. The car has been way over priced and I think they're ready to start negotiating. Its been sitting at this dealer for over three and a half months. My question is what problems if any would there be with this car sitting around and not being driven for so long. I would think I would have to change all the fluids out, check tires etc.. just wanted your guy's opinion on what you thoughts might be. Thanks

If it does need new tires, 21 in tires are more expensive. Just keep that in mind. Otherwise cool car

There are guys on this site that let their cars sit longer. I would just check the normal stuff. Tires for flat spots, pitting in the rotors, fluids. Especially battery.

Also check the wires and looms under the hood. Chances are, sitting at a dealer lot there are no pest infestations but better to check anyway.

after 6 years i would replace those tires unless its just going to sit in your garage.dry rot can cause blowouts, wrecks and damage to your fenders from the flapping rubber, plus change all the fluids.

Dude...I’m in this same area. The same dealer has a 6th gen 1LE for a few hundred bucks more and only 9K miles. Hot Wheels is cool but there was nothing other than the name that made it ‘special’. The 1LE will blow your mind. I’m in a 2015 1LE. Absolute treasure.

That's not a 1le in the photo. Wrong wheels and it's an auto.

And the one in the pic has 23K miles, not 9K.

Yeah. Sorry that’s the redline in the pic. Lot of dealers down here shedding the 2019 1LE Camaros for like 34. Main point as someone who owned the 45th edition, just like shot Wheels you are getting no performance differences than the SS. I would splurge and go better.

My 2010 just hit 3000 miles last time I drove it. Tires are fine; engine is fine; no issues! The Hot Wheels editions will probably always have some value as they were limited and hey, Hot Wheels! That 2018 is just another Camaro; the Hot Wheels are fairly special so I'd try to knock them down $3k and call it yours! At least you don't see them everywhere you go.

I think the Hot Wheels editions will be worth some money some day, assuming they are kept stock.

A 2010 with 3K miles? I thought mine was a garage queen. 2015 - 16K.

Sorry, unless you are a hot wheels aficionado, the Hot Wheels provides no performance upgrades so the only person it might be worth more too is a hot wheels guy. The edition is basically badges and rims. Go with a 1LE you’ll appreciate the drive more.
