Hello I'm soon to be camaro owner, as soon as my Audi lease is up. not sure what to get so far. I'm looking at a 2012 fully loaded with gfx 2lt. A used 2011 ss is not out of the question. My question is if v6s are upgraded so frequently how come I can't find any 2lt used with rs. There seems to be way more used ss and ls available.

Maybe the lt's are fast movers off the lot...dunno...usually the popular, more desirable models don't sit on the lot for very long.

no joke, a used SS here sits on the lot MAYBE 3-5 days... I bought mine the SAME day it hit the used lot, lol

the V6s seem to stay around longer, where I bought mine has had a yellow and black one since my car and has had a solid red one for a while now as well

but you do see v8s hit the used lots often, they just never stick around long

One might entertain the idea that if the premise for V6 models are that they are more attractive for the budget minded.............it certainly makes sense that less of them be available in the used car market with the costly RS upgrade.

I've heard dealers actually make more money/profit per se on used cars...the quicker they sell, the better..

I drive past a Chevy dealer every morning. None of their used Camaros stick around long. Probably just varies depending on where you are looking.

must be different where you live. the chevy dealership down the road has like 5-6 v6's with the rs package. i dont know if its a 2lt because i didnt pay that much attention to them but there were only 2 ss's and ive noticed the ss's dont stay there long at all.

Sometimes people buy the car and realize it is too expensive for them to keep. That would be my guess.

I was told this insananely low mileage (1,000) 2010 SS was on the lot for 2 months...but I showed up just as the weather broke and apparently timing is everything.

Not sure what difference it makes, but do they even "lease" these cars??

Maybe the returned ones are starting to roll in from leases...dunno...
