I believe he said in post 116 that he's keeping the V6.

Not even close! There is as much difference between the SS and ZR1 as there is between the LS/LT and the SS in terms of performace. Come back when you can act like something more than a troll.

I see these threads all the time and I don't see why you and the other people just didn't get an SS in the first place . I am happy with my V6 and I traded my 2008 corvette for it . If it's gonna make you happy , just do it but be careful with a used one . There are plenty of dogged one's out there . I hope you are happy whatever you do . Good luck .

Why not just wait until the restyle and keep your V6?

I came in to this way too late, and thus I'm not reading the 7 pages of BS.

Bottom lines....you can take your car and make it your own sweet unique ride and build up the power to something you can be happy with. Otherwise, if your certain you can't be happy with less than 400+ horsepower then upgrade if you can afford it.

FYI...for the longest time, the V6 community had next to nothing in terms of decent performane mods. Over the past year, and moreso 6 months that has been changing rapidly.

It is now entirely possible to get somewhere in the 350 HP 320 TQ range with simple bolt ons and a tune. If you don't think that is impressive for an N/A V6, you got issues.

Come on in to the V6 bolt ons section and see what we are doing now with ported intakes and manifold insulators. Heck...even a $150 mod (the insulator) alone is making a world of difference for us.

Good luck in your decision and feel free to hit me up with any questions...I'll give you a straight up honest answer.
