4th Gen gas mileage?

So what do you guys get? I'm looking heavily into getting one but don't want to get 13/14 miles a gallon like a truck... What do you get generally in city though since that's where I'll be doing most of my driving. I figured 17 or so or am I being optimistic?
Talking about the LS1 too forgot to mention that. Most likely auto

That's all my fuel ups.. lowest I've gotten is just under 17, highest i've gotten is just under 20 MPG.
Mine is strictly city.. my drive to work is a 50 MPH zone though, so I get almost highway speeds there.

Does an LS1 really get that much better mileage?
