It occurs to me that looking at everything logically tends to dehumanize in a way that tends to make others uncomfortable emotionally. I try not to post that stuff on forums, because I know it generally doesn't go well, but they slip through once in a while.
I'm the same way, no worries. I had to throw my little jab in there too

It didn't go unnoticed that your jab wasn't quite the keyboard flexing that usually result from the things I say lol.

I thought they would build Z/28 as the last one, but they did ZL1.
Still a good looking car. Very capable car.

Good Bye Gen5.

Kind of bittersweet, I think.

I remember in the summer of 2009 watching a National Geographic show on the Oshawa plant and the building of the 5th Gen..kind of weird to think of it as done now.

I remember being there in Oshawa on day 1, seeing the first car come out of the plant & meeting Rick Hendrick (along with some GM employees and a handful of members from Camaro5). Hard to think that its been over 6 and a half years since that day in March

This is a pretty emotional moment for me because I vividly remember the 1st time i've seen a 5th gen Camaro, which also happen to be the first time i've ever seen or heard of a camaro. I instantly fell in love with it and it quickly became my dream car! I was too young to ever own a 5th gen but for my senior prom i had rented a 5th gen convertible and my best memories of prom wasn't the parties themselves but the excitement of being behind the wheel of my dream car and driving by the beaches of miami at night with the top down and friends blasting music. I'm happy to say I'm getting my Gen 6 around march but one of the main reasons I'm happy with the gen 6's subtle visual changes is that it reminds me of the car i fell in love with, but a more modernized version. This car is absolutely special to me because it signifies my childhood and whenever I'm behind the wheel of one I'm instantly turned back into that little kid with the poster on his wall, whether V6 or SS. Good bye Gen 5, Thank you for making me love cars.

The 5th Gen brought back the legacy of the Camaro, now the 6th Gen will carry it on!!

Kind of sad to see the last 5th gen produced, but its good knowing the 6th gens are even better .

The camaro is back where it belongs in the states, thank you neighbors to the north for all you did. But the Camaro is as American as apple pie ,being built in another country is part of the reason I wasn't interested in the 5th gen. Even tho I Loved they brought it back and looked bad to the bone. It just wasn't right

we all know the Americas from history class but there is only one USA just remember and the jobs and tax dollars stay here now. That's a big deal for us just like it was for Canada guys when you got the camaro production to begin with it. That was rubbed in the face of the US worker , so now you know how it feels.
