LED bulbs
My initial silicone wrap kind of loosened one connection, just had to re-wrap it. The bulbs have been fine.

I thought they were standalone LEDs with separate harnesses with 2 resistors per harness How is their brightness compared to stock? Is the light dispersed evenly thru the lense as LEDs tend to project brightest straight ahead compared to the spherical evenness projection of incandescent bulbs? Is there a significant difference in brightness between the tail light and brake light? Thanks again. Much appreciated! |

I only know the brake lights are brighter by how much brighter they reflect off the garage door.

Yes, because the Afterburners are poopie, and nobody wants to spend $400 on poopie. These are $30 a side and warranty.

mostly fine
I had one of the filimets on one the connectors rust and break off. I suspect the dialectric grease and\or something else got on it.
I bought another pair so have a spare. That was a couple years ago, no issues since. Not blaming the product for that.

Hey, Really glad to get your reply as I didn’t know if you were still on the forum, and also especially glad to hear your 2nd set have held up. Maybe some moisture got in the first set before you applied the dialectric grease?
Did you apply dialectric grease on the 2nd set before or after you plugged the contact fitting in and did use silicone tape again? Thanks |
